New York and New Jersey contractors, designers and project owners: it’s time to take a bow.
ENR New York’s Best Projects judges have awarded 28 honors so far in the 2019 regional Best Projects contest.

No other place in the country generates more advertising revenue from building façades than Times Square. A single billboard can command upwards of $4 million per advertiser per year. Using the latest digital signage technology and creative building redevelopment plans, building owners and developers jockey for the primo positions to capture eyeballs along this famed commercial intersection.

Ken Colao, president of CNY, was a featured panelist  at the Fourth Annual Anchin Construction & Development Forum held at the New York Academy of Sciences in Downtown Manhattan.

The decision to launch a corporate initiative “building leaders “ a learning program that provides everyone at CNY the opportunity to be trained and become a leader. We kicked-off the first of a five part series and it will continue into next year.

The Marriott Edition hotel at 20 Times Square reached its full height this spring. But getting there was no easy task. CNY Group, the job’s general contractor, had to demo most of the previous building and excavate the foundation for the 39-story tower while preserving the steel skeleton of two original facade walls.

Judging for ENR New York’s Best Projects 2017 is now complete, and the winners are revealed below.
The winners will be profiled in depth in the September issue of ENR New York, and at an awards presentation on Sept. 27.
